Brussels-Capital region became a Low Emission Zone on 1 January 2018. ALD Automotive Luxembourg contacted the Brussels Region to clarify the effects of this change for vehicles registered in Luxembourg.
Since 1 October 2012, any car driven in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg must be equipped with winter tyres under winter driving conditions. If you flout this law and you are caught in a roadside check, you may have to pay a €74 fine.
